This ring is made of 585 yellow gold (14 carat) and probably dates from the 1970s to 1990s.
The style is called a Half-Eternity Ring or Diamond Row Ring: Four genuine brilliant-cut diamonds are set in a row in the gold band, flanked above and below by a narrow gold frame. The clear, straight lines are typical of modern German post-war goldsmithing – without frills, without embellishments.
Half-Eternity rings were often bought as stacking rings for engagement rings or as gifts for milestone birthdays or wedding anniversaries. They are so timeless that they look just as modern today as they did back then.
