This ring is made of real two-tone gold – the shank in warm yellow gold, the upper part in light white gold. Both are 585 gold (14 karat) with a German master's mark.
The style is called a Tank Ring and originated in the 1940s. At that time, three-dimensional, almost architectural pieces of jewelry were fashionable. This ring here is a later version from the 1950s to 70s.
The special feature is the three-layer construction: a pavé band with small diamonds at the top and bottom, and three raised square settings with one diamond each in the middle. A total of 13 real diamonds.
