Crafted in 14 karat white gold (585) as a rare star-burst halo ring – a round sapphire in a high 6-claw setting, surrounded by six brilliant-cut diamonds, with sparkling gold rays in between, forming the silhouette of a star or snowflake. This design is a special variation of the classic halo ring and dates back to the late 1960s to 1970s, a time when Space Age design brought cosmic symbols such as stars, snowflakes, and suns to the forefront of jewelry art.
The combination of deep blue sapphire and white brilliant-cut diamonds is traditionally considered a symbol of fidelity, truth, and noble constancy.
